St Francis of Assisi is a caring Academy founded on Christian values. Our unique specialism is the environment and sustainability. We are an Academy striving for excellence in everything we do – an Academy that is a focus for optimism in its community. We are now recognised as a centre of outstanding practice for education in the environment and sustainability (Ofsted July 2011).
In 2011 St Francis of Assisi was awarded the International School Award, Green Flag Award and Sustainable School of the Year Award. At St Francis of Assisi we strive to provide an exciting learning environment which puts the individual student at the centre of everything we do.
